[ ETC ] Personal History: Mortimer Toynbee was born in York, England, and was quickly abandoned by his parents and spent many years in an orphanage, where he was constantly tormented by other children due to his ugliness and strangely shaped body (as his mutant appearance was present from birth). He was considered to be mentally inferior due to his extreme shyness and mild learning disabilities during his (elementary) school years, though he was actually quite intelligent. He dropped out at an extremely early age and decided to fend for himself. He was picked up in his early twenties by a woman with long blonde hair and legs that wouldn't stop, who'd paid him a kind word and gotten him a hot meal. She escorted him to Erik Lensherr and upon arrival at their meeting place, turned blue. He was in. After several years of service to Magneto, the last straw finally came when one of Mags' old enemies sent his little squad out to (at the very least) rescue Mags' key pieces (Rogue). He was almost killed and so far as he could tell, Creed was. He was out. He spent the last several years in secrecy and keeping his nose (and tongue) half-way clean (so far as terrorism went). He's gained a good bit of rank amongst the Morlocks and has made himself quite comfortable... it would take a good bit of persuasion to draw him out of his pond. Extra: A survivor through and through, he swam away from the incident with the 'X-Men' after being electrocuted by Ororo Munroe. It seems that neither party in the one-on-one dual would 'ever die'.
